Carlos Rivera

Vice President of Operations

Carlos Rivera is currently VP of Operations for Syntheon. In this role he is responsible for program management, project finances, design control, manufacturing engineering, operations, logistics and supplier development and relations.
Carlos has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. He began his career in 1991 as a manufacturing engineer with Symbiosis Corporation. While there, he attained positions of increasing responsibility until his departure in 2001, when he held the title of Business Unit Manager for New Products, a unit that produced over $50MM in annual revenue for Boston Scientific. He continued his career at Medcanica, Inc as Director of Manufacturing before joining InScope as a Program Manager in 2002. In 2005, he became Director of Global Operations at Syntheon LLC and ascended to his current position of Vice President of Operations in 2016. Carlos has experience in developing and launching products in fields of cardiology, flexible endoscopy, laparoscopy and urology.
He studied at the University of Florida from 1986 to 1991 and received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University in 1996.
