Sean McBrayer currently serves as Syntheon's Vice President of Operations and Business Development.

He has over 16 years of experience in the medical device industry. He was a founder and the former General Manager of InScope LLC, a flexible endoscopy device company that sold its name and substantial assets to Ethicon Endo-surgery in 2003. He also held various Research and Development positions at Boston Scientific and Symbiosis Corporation.

He has worked in the medical device fields of laparoscopic surgery, gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic systems, urology (BPH, urinary incontinence, radial prostatectomy), cardiology and arthroscopy.

He holds 30 issued United States patents and many international patents in the field of medical device.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1989.
