Sean McBrayer is co-founder of Syntheon LLC. Additionally, Sean is Syntheon's Vice President of Operations and Business Development. During his tenure with Syntheon, Sean has co-founded and invested in several medical device companies and has successfully negotiated the sale of products and technology to Ethicon Endosurgery, Cordis, Covidien and Olympus in the fields of flexible endoscopy, laparoscopic surgery and cardiology.

Sean has over 22 years of experience in the medical device industry. Sean began his career in the medical device industry at Symbiosis and Boston Scientific where he held various Research and Development positions. He was subsequently a founder and General Manager of InScope LLC, a flexible endoscopy device company started in 1998. InScope LLC was sold to Ethicon Endo-surgery in 2003.

Sean has worked in the medical device fields of laparoscopic surgery, cardiology, flexible endoscopy, urology, and arthroscopy.

Sean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1989 and now holds over 30 issued United States patents and many international patents in the field of medical device.
