Matt is co-founder and Vice President of Research and Development at Syntheon.
He has twenty years experience working in product development and R&D
in the medical device industry. Primary focus has been the development
of disposable devices for the minimally invasive treatment of diseases.
Matt has worked in large corporations such as Cordis and Boston Scientific
and held positions from Advanced Research and Development Engineer to
Director of Research and Development managing a group of 42 managers,
engineers and technicians.
He has also been key in several start-ups holding positions from Senior
Design Engineer to Founder and President.
Matt graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor
of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
His major areas of focus over the years have been:

• Diagnostic and Therapeutic Gastroenterology
• Laparascopic and General Surgery
• Interventional Radiolog
• Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery
