Mr. Abelleira has proven ability
in all phases of sales, marketing, and new product commercialization process.
His responsibilities at Syntheon include representing the voice of the
customer in product development so products coming to market will achieve
rapid physician adoption. Mr. Abelleira's experience extends from selling
products to physicians, to line marketing positions, to identifying market
needs, and then working with engineers and physician opinion leaders worldwide
to develop products that achieve market acceptance and substantial market
share. This experience was attained over a seventeen year career at Cordis
Corporation where Mr. Abelleira ultimately held the position of Product
Director within the New Product Strategy Group. In this position, he provided
marketing and strategic insight to engineering, manufacturing and marketing
teams throughout the world.
